EMPLOYEE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

Park District employees must report to the Park District鈥檚 Inspector General any contact by (a) a political party or campaign, (b) a public office holder, or (c) anyone working or volunteering on behalf of a party, campaign, or office holder, if that contact concerns an Employment Action affecting a non-Shakman Exempt employee. You must report the contact even if you were not the Park District employee contacted. Failure to report a political contact can result in discipline up to and including termination.
